Since the Hummingbird has become my main player as of late, I decided it was time to spruce it up. 40 years with little upkeep had taken its toll. I did the fret job on my faux-Martin myself, but decided to enlist a professional on this one. I took it to a Luthier in Woodstock, GA. who runs a shop out of the basement of his home. What a great aesthetic. Tools everywhere, the place overflowing with unfinished guitars, and the delicate scent of a sawdust and cigarette potpourri. In short, awesome. Here are a few pics I snapped while there.
